Twinkle, twinkle, little star..How I wonder what you are.

Have I told you already that Jenna is a musical savant? When Aunt Jodi called last week while babysitting, she seemed scared. "Do one-year-olds sing Twinkle, Twinkle?"

No, usually they don't. But JKR is magical. She not only "sings" ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah----in PERFECT tune to the song...she can do it at different speeds.

While strolling down the grocery store aisle, lounging in her plush cart-cover, she'll sing it at just the right speed. When we're going to sleep, she sings it s l o w l y...sometimes she even adds a signature "gargle" sound to the notes. When she's hyper...chasing a dog, hitting her brother, or mad at us...she sings it in fast-forward. This is my favorite one.

And to further clarify, the baby doesn't just babble "twinkle, twinkle, little star...how i wonder what you are." she does the WHOLE song. In perfect tune.

Visions of Juilliard dance in my head.

Oh - - and she loves mac and cheese.....

In other news, we had a great time with the Cox family this week. The babies love boat rides.

"A lifetime's not too long...to live as friends"

How lucky am I? 10 years ago, I graduated from Baylor. There, I had such a wonderful time, got such a solid education and met such beautiful people, that I can only pray that my children will also be Bears. Well, pray and $save$!

10 years ago, this group of girls graduated and had the oppurtunity to completely drift from each other's lives. Instead, we remain solid. We don't need to talk every day...we just know in our hearts that these are the people that complete our families. The people we call when we want to celebrate and when we want to crumble.

What an awesome weekend.

This post and these pics can't do the weekend justice like this can:
